Offering “Madhukari” to the people at Ganagapura and
taking Biksha from atleast 5 houses is having very importance at this Holy
Place.

Even today also, the process is continuing and the devotees are having
faith that Lord Dattatreya is taking biksha everyday at Ganagapur. Shri
Narasimha Saraswati Swamy confirmed the same and it can be seen in Gurucharitra.

Scriptures says “Give Daana to Supatra” (Right Candidate) only. But there is
only one exception and that is about Anna Daana.

Anna Daana is for all. The
Giver of Food is the Giver of LIFE and indeed of everything else. Therefore one
who is desirous of wellbeing in this world and beyond should specially endeavor
to give Food.

On every Full Moon day and on Festivals days more than thousand
people, from all over the world will visit Viswaroopa Datta Kshetram and take
the blessings of Sri Viswaroopa Datta and participate in the Bhajans, Anaga
Vratha, Abhisheka, Homa and take Anna Prasadam at this Kshetram.
