It stands on the bank of the rivers Bhima and Amaraja (sangama), the water of the rivers especially at the spot of their confluence are considered extremely holy.
People from all over the world will visit Viswaroopa Datta Kshetram and take the blessings of Kshetra Devata.

On Every Poornima day and on festival occations, nearly 500 people participate in the Bhajans, Anaga Vratha, Homa and take Anna Prasadam at this Kshetram.
Free Medical camps are another regular activity here.

Temple Administration has made an all out effort in ensuring Infrastructure development, Annadanam (Food Distribution), Medical Aid facilities at Viswaroopa Datta Kshetram.
